Kore Beauty's NEW Anti-Ageing HYDROGEL Facial Mask!

So it's been a hot minute since I've done anything skincare related here on this blog and, boy, have I got a new product for you!

Today I'm going to be reviewing this face mask that I was kindly gifted by Kore Beauty for review and testing purposes. It's their NEW anti-ageing hydrogel formula!

Now, I always love a good mask, however, when the opportunity arose to try this baby out, I was very skeptical; I've used sheet masks before but not like this! Kore Beauty, a brand that brings Korean skincare trends to Europe, use advanced hydrogel instead of cotton or pulp soaked in product, which is supposed to provide "a much closer surface contact between the skin and the mask, delivering greater penetration of essence without drying or irritating the skin." (Quoted directly from their website.)

I must admit, the idea is definitely innovative, but does it work?
After performing my normal skincare routine (minus the moisturiser!) I followed the instructions on the back of the packet, which told me to remove the two pieces of mask and their paper coverings before placing on the face, lower half first. Honestly, it felt so strange; it was like wearing a much stickier version of gelatin! Despite this, I actually enjoyed the experience and I think my face did too, as it was tingling slightly throughout the whole process.

In order to give you a realistic idea of what this mask can do for you, let's explore each individual key ingredient:

Vitamin E: Supports new skin cell growth and encourages cell regeneration
Retinol: Boosts healthy Collagen and Elastin, keeping wrinkles from forming
Hyaluronic Acid: Keeps the skin plump and hydrated

The benefits of the ingredients sound incredibly enticing, and, in the days that followed, I noticed a certain plumpness to my skin that I didn't have before and, for me, that's a result. However, due to the fact that I'm still a teenager, I can't really say that I saw any perks from those anti-ageing properties; I decided to bring in a special guest who could give me a second opinion... my lovely mother!

My mother dearest is not huge on skincare (she's one of those old fashioned women who relies solely on soap and water to save the day) so it was interesting seeing her applying this mask. Her comments were as follows:

"I've never really experimented with masks before, so this is my first. When on my skin, it had quite a profound cooling effect, which meant that it felt nice against the skin. In terms of the gel's consistency, it was a tad sticky, but after massaging it thoroughly, it was fine. Overall, I like this mask a lot; I did notice that my skin has become softer and the creases by my eyelids have been reduced."

So there you have it! Kore Beauty's Anti-Ageing Hydrogel Facial Mask* is, for sure, a winner. So much so, that I managed to snag an EXCLUSIVE discount code, just for you guys, my readers! Simply enter MWL25 at checkout to receive a whopping 25% discount on your box of masks!

Each box contains 5 hydrogel facials and costs a total of £35 (excluding postage and packaging) which works out as roughly £7 per mask. But with my coupon code, you can buy the whole box for only £27, which is so worth it, so feel free to give them a try!

Thank you guys so much for reading yet another post here on my blog; as long as you keep enjoying posts, I'll keep pushing them out!

Do you use sheet masks on a regular basis? What do you think of Kore Beauty's new hydrogel formula?

Let me know in the comments section below and, as usual, follow this blog for more content just like this!

Until next time,
