May Beauty Favourites

As we're just beginning to enter into June, it seemed a very fitting stage to give you my May beauty favourites! I've been enjoying a lot of goodies lately - the month of May has been kind to me in terms of new makeup and skincare products; in my normal fashion, I thought I'd share those with you guys!

So, without any further ado, let's get into this month's spotlight products - it's going to be a long one folks (feel free to get your popcorn before we get started)!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Quad (4 individual shadows) - £30
I've heard so many positive things about ABH shadows over the last while, hence why I gave in to the makeup junkie side of me and finally decided to purchase some! Along with an empty four well palette, I picked up the following individual shadows (swatched above):

Now, I'm genuinely obsessed with these - they're pigmented, creamy, blend beautifully and come in a range of stunning shades! I will definitely be buying more (sorry bank account) very soon, as I'm so impressed with the formula!

Due to the fact that there have been so many amazing liquid matte lipsticks popping up on the market lately, I definitely forgot just how much I enjoy a good glossy lip. And, needless to say, this highly pigmented gloss from Mac Cosmetics has reminded me of that and made me fall in love with glosses all over again.

The "Vamplify" lipglosses smell absolutely wonderful and are so long lasting for glosses. I picked up the shade 'Absolute Score' (a muted greyish-brown) and am absolutely loving it! (You guys know how much I adore a dark lip!) This is, for sure, a quality lip product from Mac: I highly recommend! Better yet, they are currently on sale as we speak: go and grab one and let me know what you think!

This liquid liner had been my go-to lately; when they say it's smudge proof, they really mean it. I, so far, have never come across such an affordable and versatile liquid liner that's as long lasting and bold as this one. The quality is second to none and, fortunately, it doesn't spread out and start settling into the cracks of your skin; I'm really impressed. So for those of you out there that enjoy a good wing, this is definitely worth picking up!

This review has been a long time coming, as I did receive this for consideration rather a while ago, however, due to the 30 day claim, I had to leave it for the full duration before spilling the tea on this revolutionary product.

I've always had issues with my brows; not only are they lighter than my hair colour, but they are also rather thin and sparse, meaning that they don't stand out at all. I loved using the Colorsport 30 day brow tint - the instructions are easy to follow and gave me really beautiful brows that I'm rather proud of (if I do say so myself!)

This kit retails for £8.25, which is incredibly reasonable considering the fact that you can definitely get several uses out of one tube; my brows are covered for the next while!

Again, this is a wonderful product from Colorsport - my lashes have (naturally) never looked better with this new and improved faster formula. This did make my lashes stand out a lot more from the roots to the tips (creating a more dramatic look) so I decided to share some with one of my beautiful friends (she has rather light-coloured lashes as she's blonde) and she was obsessed with the results!

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an easier and faster way of applying natural, permanent colour to their lashes - it really works!

Out of all of the products I've mentioned today for my beauty favourites, this one, for me, stands out by a mile. About two weeks before I had the pleasure of trying this beauty out, my skin was probably at it's worst - my breakouts were uncontrollable. However, after using this for a while, I've got to say that I'm seriously impressed and also absolutely in love. And it's the real thing this time!

This 100% organic cleansing balm by Balm Balm is a must have for any skincare junkie. It's incredibly soothing and nourishing for the skin and and cleanses so deeply that you can literally feel the dirt being pushed to the surface. And not to mention the gorgeous scent!

This product saved my skin and it could definitely do the same for yours - I highly recommend.

Sun protection is, of course, a priority as we approach the summer months - the sun's rays are capable of doing more harm than good to the skin and could potentially damage it! That's why I always love to use a strong SPF 50 sun screen to protect me throughout the day and, currently, I'm favouring this one by Frezyderm

Established by Mr. Anastasios Anastasiou in 1986, Frezyderm is originally a Greek Brand aiming to produce and manufacture safe, effective and high quality products. Their award-winning Velvet sun screen line is, in my opinion, really innovative. I love the transparency and texture - it almost creates a sort of 'second skin' barrier effect when applied, which makes me feel comfortable with going out in the sun, as I know that my face and body are fully protected.

I've really been enjoying this sample-sized eye makeup remover from Mac - it's so lightweight and doesn't irritate at all. I've been experimenting with a lot more glitter lately, and this still takes the lot of with ease! I'll definitely be buying the full-sized product some time in the near future.

And, last but not least, is the product that I stupidly forgot to photograph (I have a memory like a sieve, you guys) - the konjac angel cloth with bamboo charcoal. I've never seen anything like this ever before, so getting the opportunity to try this was wonderful, and my skin is reaping the benefits.

I've ditched my muslin cloth for this 100% pure alternative: I'm obsessed. With the addition of bamboo charcoal, it also helps to calm down my teenage blemishes, which is always a bonus.

Overall, this is so easy to use, long-lasting and of fantastic quality, so head over to the website and purchase yours now!

* The products marked with an asterisk have been gifted to me, free of charge, for review. However, all opinions on them are strictly honest.

Thank you very much for reading today's post on my May beauty favourites - I really hope you enjoyed it!
