Up For Review: LQ Liquid Health Skin, Hair & Nails Supplements

Hey guys! Yep, that's right, I'm back at you guys with my regular content (HOORAY!) and, today, we're going to be discussing my latest beauty favourite which, surprisingly, isn't a makeup or skincare product as such. Ladies and gentleman, let me introduce you to the LQ Liquid Health Skin, Hair & Nails supplements*.

Now, one of my favourite PR agencies (Sparkle PR, I see you) came through with the email asking me if I was interested in giving these babies a go and, given the fact I'd already seen them round and heard some very positive reviews indeed, I didn't see any reason to say no!

So, before we get into my thoughts, feelings and results, let me give you a decent idea of the ingredients and their benefits because, guys, these liquid supplements are PACKED full of goodness. Liquid supplements themselves are so much more effective than pills (you could literally put yourself through the longery of swallowing a handful of pills and it wouldn't match the concentration and amount of beneficial ingredients in these) and, of course, a hell of a lot easier to get down the hatch and actually digest, leading to better absorption of the ingredients.

Speaking of the ingredients, these contain some fabulous active ones, including Marine Collagen (helping your skin cells to repair and renew really well), Hyaluronic Acid (locking in that essential moisture and keeping the skin plump), Biotin (contributing towards healthy hair, skin and nails) and Resveratrol (a natural antioxidant known for improving the complexion). I mean, what's not to like about all of that?

So, by the time this post goes out, I'll be on the 16th day of my LQ Liquid Health journey and, quite frankly, I couldn't be more impressed. I've integrated one 50ml bottle into my morning routine, before breakfast, and it really doesn't taste like a medicinal product; instead, it tastes quite exotic and fruity but, whilst you don't taste the difference, you certainly see and feel it. After approximately 9 days, I began to get quite a few compliments about how glowing and luminous my skin is becoming (one girl was even under the impression I had a complete face of foundation and highlighter on...) and how beautiful my complexion is which, for me, is such a success as dull, uneven skin has been the bane of my existence for as long as I can remember. Don't get me wrong, my routine is full of amazing products geared towards solving my skin concerns, however, this has evidently given me the boost I needed towards better skin because it's never been quite so clear before.

Naturally, I do have quite thick hair so I haven't noticed any kind of growth or increase in that department but it does have a certain glossy/shiny edge to it (not as far as an oil slick, obviously) which I'm LOVING and my nails have also gotten noticeably stronger to the touch. Therefore, based on my progress, the verdict on these liquid skin, hair and nails supplements can only be a positive one - they bloody work.

If you had any reservations about the LQ Liquid Health Skin, Hair & Nails supplements,  I urge you to throw them out the window into the nearest wheelie bin because, girl... I guarantee you'll become just as obsessed with what they can do for you as I am. Caring for your interior by taking the right things is equally as important as using the correct cleanser for your skin type, for instance - one is consumed and one is applied but both are required in order for your skin to live its best life. Honestly, £29.99 for 10 bottles of this magic sounds quite steep but, for what you're getting, it is totally worth it; why not treat your skin today? These are readily available from Boots and the LQ Liquid Health website so if you're interested in giving them a shot then don't hesitate to pick them up and experience it for yourself.

Thank you SO much for reading this morning's post on my new favourite beauty supplement - I love the concept of these little 50ml bottles and my skin really does look healthy and hydrated at the moment so... credit where it's due!

Do you experiment with beauty supplements? If so, would you be up for giving these a try?

Feel free to drop those responses in the comments section below and, as usual, you're always welcome to include any other queries, opinions and/or criticisms - responding to your feedback makes my day! (Another way to make my day would be to follow this blog by email on the way out so that you never miss another post!)

Until next time,

  5. I love the idea of liquid supplements but the taste of these wouldn't work for me. I would love for them to have a tasteless option as the ingredients are so good xx

    1. I suppose that's how it is with scented and scentless products - some people love them to have a fragrance and some people prefer them to be fragrance free. Honestly, Gemma, these taste just like passionfruit - SO GOOD. x

  6. Oh wow, this product sounds really great! I don't really experiment with beauty supplements, but if it's worth it, then why not? There's always a first time for everything. :) ~ Ola @ WanderWithOla

  7. hmmmm. I tried to comment using my other account and it didn't appear so let me try again. I was saying that both my nails and my hair have been really brittle lately so its time for me to give a product like this one a try.

  11. These sound like great supplements. I've been looking for a product like this so I might have to pick up some for myself.

  12. I was given some beauty supplements much like this, but by a Japanese brand, for free to try once. And I did think they were very good, but it is expensive to take them long term - here in Japan anyway. Interesting to see that Boots have them - I will be home in Ireland over the summer, going to check it out. Lynda Hogan

  15. Honestly, I've never experimented with supplements, I just never trusted any of them. I'd love to see some before & afters if you feel comfortable posting them (ie before the supplements, then a photo of you after taking the supplements for 9 days). I'm a visual person and would love to see the difference after using them!
