Australia, the land down under, is on most of our bucket lists. First off, it’s huge, we’ve all seen the images of the long open road, stretching out straight ahead as far as the eye can see. It’s also diverse with many different landscapes, including deserts, forests, beaches, and so much more to see and do. Therefore, no matter what type of traveler you are, there will be something there for you to experience. Here are some tips for visiting Australia.
Road trips
Australia is a fantastic country to go on a road trip. If you want to see it all, this is how you do it. You could hire out a four-wheel drive and go along the rugged outback or along the coast. You will see a vast array of landscapes, from mountains, beaches, deserts, rainforest, and more. Not only that, but you will stand on one of those roads that simply disappear into the distance, just because your eyes can’t see that far. That is freedom, that is a sense of being on an Earth that is huge and can make you feel as so small. Also, while out on the open road, take a look up and see the Milky Way. There are not many places that you will see the stars so clearly as rural Australia.
City life
If visiting one of Australia cities is more your thing, then you will not be left wanting more. There Sydney, with the famous Opera house, Darwin, Canberra, and Perth, to mention a few. Why not go on a holiday to visit Perth in 10 Days. Known as the jewel of Western Australia, and for a good reason. If the sun is your thing, this city receives more sunlight than any other Australian city. You could sprawl out on the beaches during the day, and enjoy the nightlife after dark. Australian cities are well worth the visit.
Surfs up
Australia is renowned for its beautiful beaches and blue sea. If you are a bit of an open-minded adventurer, perhaps you will be up for a bit of surfing. There are waves for beginners and experts alike, and if this is something you are interested in, you could hire an instructor to help you. Some of the best beaches for surfing are Bondi Beach, Manly Beach, and Byron Bay. You will be immersed in a surfing community for a few days, or weeks perhaps, and love the sense of comradery.
Diving
Scuba diving is an absolute must when it comes to Australia. You have to get out there and see the Great Barrier Reef. To feel as though you're in another world, having the real underwater experience is like nothing else. You will literally swim with the fishes and see and learn about the coral reef habitat. If you are going to Australia for any length of time, you could hire an instructor and learn to dive. You will not regret it. Diving in Australia will open your eyes to the water world around us.

Thank you so much for reading today's post! Australia is considered a MUST visit destination by so many people as it caters for a wide variety of different interests (not to mention the fact that every single picture I've seen of Australia is stunning) - I've simply got to go!
Have you ever thought of seeing the land down under in the flesh? If so, what would you be going for: the road trips, the city life, the surfing or the diving?
I would love it if you let me know your thoughts and opinions below, along with anything else you may like to contribute - I adore spending time reading and responding to people, especially on a Sunday (week days are HECTIC, as you know). Finally, if you could do me a favour and follow this blog (on the right-hand side), I would be more than grateful and, evidently, it would also mean that every single upload would be delivered right to your inbox - clever and convenient, right?
Until next time,
